I appreciate all of your help and sorry for any confusion that this issue may have caused but I think it is good to know that something should be done to look into the automated updates/licensing agreement issues. I am halfway through the list below and things are going smoothly. I had this issue with my ASUS laptop as well, so why does it recommend that the update setting be set to automatic and then my system isn't able to accept the licensing and such as I would (and many other's, I'm sure) would think would be the case. With each download I am I get the "agreement confirmation box" and I check it and things go off with out a hitch.

You know I thought that the problem was the fact that I wasn't allowed to accept the licensing terms and agreement (which I thought were automatic) but obviously it isn't because after all of that the trouble I decided to go through and download the updates manually and then install and I am having no problem with the downloads at all. Any way as part of the tech fee's at the University we are given the most up to date software to aid in our studies-hence Office Interprise and its product key is P66Y2-PD38R-96PJB-D2X2M-DXXXX (don't want to expose the full code). I will leave the indepth computer stuff to you (the pro's). I am currently enrolled in the University at Buffalo for my Master's Program in Social Work so I am not a tech guy but I try and learn as much as I can about things. It was a purchase that I bought a couple years back for my old computer and never used them all.
